CRPS - STAGES OF CRPS
CRPS is characterized by 1) acute stage, 2) the dystrophic phase, and 3) the atrophic stage. Each of these stages has distinct symptoms, pathophysiology, and physical examination findings In this Live Video, we review in detail each of these stages and then, we look at some of the differential diagnoses.
CRPS - IMPAIRMENT RATING OPTIONS
The AMA Guides are somewhat confounding and unclear as to how the Qualified Medical Evaluator can accurately rate the Impairment due to this painful condition. At times, the QME is referred to Chapter 13, to Chapter, 16, and Chapter 17. And, CRPS I and CRPS II have different rating methodologies. In this Live Video, we explore the range of available options to rate Permanent Impairment due to CRPS.
